In ationary reheating classes via spectral methods

چکیده
In ationary reheating is almost completely controlled by the Floquet indices, k. Using spectral theory we demonstrate that the stability bands (where k = 0) of the Mathieu and Lam e equations are destroyed even in Minkowski spacetime, leaving a fractal Cantor set or a measure zero set of stable modes in the cases where the in aton evolves in an almost-periodic or stochastic manner respectively. These two types of potential model the expected multield and quantum backreaction e ects during reheating.

Reheating and causal thermodynamics
The reheating process in in ationary universe models is considered as an out-of-equilibrium mixture of two interacting and reacting uids, and studied within the framework of causal, irreversible thermodynamics. The evolution of the temperature and the decay rate as determined by causal thermodynamics are estimated at di erent stages of the process. A simple model is also used to nd the perturba...
متن کاملReheating in the Presence of Noise
Explosive particle production due to parametric resonance is a crucial feature of reheating in in ationary cosmology. Coherent oscillations of the in aton eld act as a periodically varying mass in the evolution equation for matter elds which couple to the in aton. This in turn results in the parametric resonance instability. Thermal and quantum noise will lead to a nonperiodic perturbation in t...
متن کاملHyperspectral Image Classification Based on the Fusion of the Features Generated by Sparse Representation Methods, Linear and Non-linear Transformations
The ability of recording the high resolution spectral signature of earth surface would be the most important feature of hyperspectral sensors. On the other hand, classification of hyperspectral imagery is known as one of the methods to extracting information from these remote sensing data sources. Despite the high potential of hyperspectral images in the information content point of view, there...
متن کاملFalse Vacuum In ation with Einstein Gravity
We present a detailed investigation of chaotic in ation models which feature two scalar elds, such that one eld (the in aton) rolls while the other is trapped in a false vacuum state. The false vacuum becomes unstable when the magnitude of the in aton eld falls below some critical value, and a rst or second order transition to the true vacuum ensues. Particular attention is paid to the case, te...
متن کاملObject Level Strategy for Spectral Quality Assessment of High Resolution Pan-sharpen Images
Panchromatic and multi-spectral images produced by the remote sensing satellites are fused together to provide a multi-spectral image with a high spatial resolution at the same time. The spectral quality of the fused images is very important because the quality of a large number of remote sensing products depends on it. Due to the importance of the spectral quality of the fused images, its eval...
